Pulling in Belgium in 2023

ETPC Daily Board would like to inform you about a change in the organisation.

Our member BTTO in Belgium has informed their members and relatives that they are not able to organise and support any tractor pull this year in Belgium.

To secure the sport and support the Belgium teams and promoters, the ETPC Daily Board has decided to upgrade the Belgische Verenigde Pullers (BVP) organisation with the prospect status, similar like the PPI organisation in Italy.

With this step we secure the future of our sport in Belgium for this year.

We hope the BTTO will pick up the responsibilities again in 2024.

We wish the BVP all the best and will support them in any way we can.

Ready for the coming season

All competitors and events for the 2023 Mitas Eurocup Series are known. You can find the complete calendar and all competitors on our website.

The ETPC wishes all teams a good and fair competition.

We hope many pulling fans will follow and enjoy coming season!

Pulling in Italy 2023

The ETPC has taken the decision to make a change in the organisation in Italy for 2023.

Next to our member ITPO we have another organisation PPI (Power Pulling Italia) who will be a prospect member. Both organisations will run their own championship and are able to subscribe tractors for the Eurocup series.

This unique situation is new for Tractor Pulling in Europe, but with this construction we want to achieve a further development of the sport in Italy. During the 2023 season both organisations will be supported by the ETPC and our goal is to create a situation where the future of Tractor Pulling is secured for the years to come. There are several options to achieve that common goal and this will be monitored during the pulling season and discussed at the end of the season. Both organisations will run their championship according the rules as published in the ETPC rulebook, like all other ETPC members.

The ETPC Daily Board is looking forward to a constructive cooperation.

2023 Mitas Eurocup Series calendar

The 2023 Mitas Eurocup Series calendar as we currently have it confirmed as far as dates/events/classes is on our website.

All classes apart from Prostock have at least 3 rounds confirmed so will be run, currently we are not in a position to offer the Prostock class as part of the Eurocup Series for 2023.

We are still working with promoters and national organisations to try and confirm further rounds for Prostock and also to add to the Farmstock events a.s.a.p.

Also included in the calendar is the date of the EC2023 Brande which will take place over Friday 8th and Saturday 9th September 2023.

ETPC Rulebook changes for 2023

A new rulebook for 2023 will not be printed, the supplement on our website (Tech & Safety) can be used in conjunction with the current 2022 Rulebook which is also on this ETPC website.

Updated Limited Superstock (LSS) Rules

The initial ETPC rules for this new class were set in 2020 and with the rapid development of
the class and increase in tractor numbers it was felt necessary to update the rules
accordingly.

Following a review by the LSS working group the rules have now been updated and will be
implemented for the 2023 season. We strongly recommend that member organisations
with separate national rules update the areas impacted by these updates to ensure
continued pan European competitions with one unified set of rules.

ETPC Rulebook 2022

ETPC Rulebook 2022 is also digital on this website. You can find it on the Tech & Safety-page.
